Power was restored to thousands of Southern California Edison customers who were without power during an hourslong outage in Ventura County  on Labor Day.

Unknown issues caused 1,042 customers near South Westlake Boulevard and Triunfo Canyon Road in Thousand Oaks (map) to lose power around 4 a.m., the company reported Monday.

SoCal Edison originally stated power was expected to be fully restored by 11 a.m., but later extended that estimate by an additional 7 hours.

Nearly 1,000 additional customers in Camarillo also lost power due to equipment issues.

About 254 customers near Santa Rosa Road and Woodcreek Road (map) lost power around 1:54 a.m.

Another 578 customers near Santa Rosa Road and Oak Canyon Road (map) lost power around 12:53 a.m.

All outages in the county had been resolved as of 6 p.m., according to the utility’s website.
