A person died early Sunday when their car crashed into a tree in Fullerton, police said.
The crash was reported just after 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Gilbert Street and Rosecrans Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a gray 2022 Volkswagon Tiguan that had hit a tree in a solo collision.
The driver, identified only as a man, was declared dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. No additional details were immediately made available.
