Two at-risk children who went missing in Long Beach on Friday have been safely found on Saturday.
The children were identified as Gabriela Lopez, 13, and Eddie Bernal Jr., 11, by the Long Beach Police Department.
“Gabriela Lopez and Eddie Bernal Jr. returned home unharmed and reunited with a relative,” authorities said.
At the time, the children were last spotted on the 4000 block of East 10th Street around 11 a.m. Police confirmed they were runaways with patterns of doing so in the past.
No further details were released surrounding the children’s return home.
