The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of exposing himself to women in Mid-City and West Los Angeles.

Police said the suspect began harassing residents living on the 800 block of North Croft Avenue shortly after midnight on Jan. 28. He made crude comments to a woman, exposed himself and returned several times to stare at her through windows.

LAPD are searching for a man who allegedly exposed himself to multiple victims in Mid-City and West Los Angeles. KTLA reports on Thursday, March 21, 2024. (KTLA)

He allegedly repeated similar behaviors on March 2 on the 5700 block of West 6th Street and the 1200 block of Armacost Avenue.

“When you’re at home, you should be thinking about comfort and relaxation, not this lewd
conduct,” said LAPD Detective Brent Hopkins. “There’s no place for this in our neighborhoods.”

Police described the man as white or Hispanic, around 40 or 50 years old with dark or graying hair, a dark mustache, brown eyes, about 5-foot-10 and around 180 pounds.

LAPD has increased patrols in the area.

Detectives are requesting that anyone with information that could lead to the identification of
additional victims or witnesses to contact the lead investigator, Detective Hopkins of the
LAPD’s Operations-West Bureau, Special Assault Section, at 213-473-0447 or via email at
