Officials walk Skid Row to raise awareness for program that helps homeless people with mental health needs

Local and state officials on Friday walked downtown L.A.’s Skid Row area to raise awareness for a Los Angeles County conservatorship program meant to assist homeless individuals who have mental health needs.

California state Sen. Henry Stern is pushing for additional funding to help more people in need of special services.
