O.C. Fair returning for 23 days of summer fun

Fun, food and rides are returning to Costa Mesa this summer at the Orange County Fair.

This year’s fair, which is themed “Always a Good Time,” will run from July 10 through Aug. 18.

“The annual OC Fair is ‘always a good time’ and this year will be no exception,” said O.C. Fair Board Chair Nick Kovacevich. “Our staff is hard at work planning to once again welcome back the community for 23 days of fun and entertainment.”

Tickets will go on sale in February, according to a news release.

Admission prices will remain the same as they were in 2023, with general admission costing $13 on weekdays (Wednesday and Thursday) and $15 on weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Tickets for seniors (60+) and kids (6-13) are $9 on all days. Parking will cost $15.

The O.C. Fair also offers an Every Day Passport of $60 for unlimited visits.

The park’s hours will be from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays and Sundays and 11 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

A special exhibit dubbed “The Art of Music” will return for a second year with new displays.

“Also on display will be community fine art and photography entries, handcrafts, woodworking, agriculture competitions and more,” the news release stated.

As for this year’s live music, ABBA LA, Bee Gees Gold, Chris Young and Conner Smith are scheduled to perform on the opening weekend of the Fair.

Tickets for those performances are already available and include same-day admission to the fair.
