Now you can order groceries for delivery, and have them put away for you

Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, has announced it will expand its popular InHome delivery service in California. The service allows customers to order groceries online and have them unpacked and put away inside their home.

10 million additional households in San Bernardino, Riverside and Ontario will now have access to the service, which Walmart terms, “the ultimate in delivery convenience.”

“InHome is designed to be a time saver for customers by delivering fresh groceries and everyday essentials to their doorstep or unpacking items directly into their kitchen or garage refrigerators,” a Walmart spokesperson said.

Here’s how InHome works:

Walmart launched InHome delivery in 2019 in Pittsburgh, Kansas City, southeast Florida, northwest Arkansas, Atlanta, Phoenix and Washington D.C. In 2022, the company expanded to Los Angeles, Chicago and Dallas.

The service is available as an optional add-on for Walmart+’s $12.95 a month.
