Gov. Gavin Newsom is in Los Angeles County on Monday, highlighting his plan for tackling the state’s homelessness crisis.

The governor is pledging major investments to strengthen California’s mental health care system, part of a multi-pronged approach that is said to be the first of its kind in state history.
