Man fatally shot in Westmont: Sheriff’s Department

A man was fatally shot in Westmont on Saturday, officials said.

The man’s name has not been released but he is believed to be about 30 years old.

He was shot an unknown number of times in his upper torso on the 1000 block of West Imperial Highway around 5:20 p.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office said in an alert.

He was declared dead at a local hospital.

As for the shooters, detectives identified “two male Black adult suspects who fled the scene on foot,” the LASD added in an update.
