USC Athletic Director Pat Haden said Wednesday that he was happy the NFL struck a deal to bring the Rams back to Los Angeles, and possibly the Coliseum.

Haden, who played quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams in the 1970s, joked that his son said he was going to buy a Todd Gurley jersey.

Haden said that having an NFL tenant would help USC in its efforts to raise the projected $270 million for renovations to the Coliseum.
