In a highly anticipated reunion, Guns N’ Roses will perform at the Troubadour in West Hollywood on Friday evening, the band confirmed in a statement.
Hundreds of fans were lined up in front of the former Tower Records store, at 8801 Sunset Boulevard, on Friday morning, in hopes of getting tickets to the show.
It was not immediately clear which members of the original Guns N’ Roses lineup will appear at the 11 p.m. gig, but the band noted that the ticket sale will take place at “the venue where Slash used to work.”
Some fans “also know Axl worked across the street at the now defunct Tower Video,” the statement said.
Frontman Axl Rose and guitarist Slash have not performed together publicly since 1993.
Bassist Duff McKagan posted multiple tweets about the Friday-night show on his official account.
A “limited” number of concert tickets will go on sale, for $10 each, at noon, according to the news release. Only cash will be accepted for payment.
The Troubadour has a capacity of 400, according to Rolling Stone.
