Gambling, narcotics operation taken down in Southern California

An anonymous tip to L.A. Regional Crime Stoppers about an illegal gambling and narcotics operation in the Broadway-Manchester neighborhood of Los Angeles led to the arrest of seven people, officials announced Tuesday.  

Vice officers with the Los Angeles Police Department executed a search warrant in the 10000 block of South Main Street on Feb. 29, according to a LAPD news release

Authorities say that several illegal gambling machines, narcotics and firearms were recovered during the search.  

Seven suspects, all residents of L.A. and ranging in age from 34 to 48 years old, were arrested during the bust. Each was cited for being present at a gambling location or for outstanding felony warrants.
