A former drummer for the alternative rock band Cake was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years to life in prison for molesting a 3-year-old girl.
Peter Ivan McNeal was found guilty in March of one count of oral copulation of a child 10 years old or younger, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
The crime occurred on Thanksgiving Day in 2009 at a Laurel Canyon home where McNeal was a guest, the DA’s Office said.
In addition to prison, the 48-year-old was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
