The Brown Berets hosted a protest against high gas prices at an El Sereno Arco station on Saturday afternoon.
The pro-Chicano civil rights organization said oil companies are making huge profits while taking advantage of consumers, while the state of California is too focused on collecting gas taxes instead of helping its residents.
