A car belonging to a 27-year-old Laguna Hills woman who disappeared after a night out celebrating Valentine’s Day was found Wednesday afternoon in Alisa Viejo.
The Honda Civic EX was located in the Glenwood Park neighborhood near Cedarbrook and Redwood, according to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
Erica Alonso was last seen leaving her boyfriend’s house in Irvine in the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015. When Alonso didn’t show up for work on Tuesday, family members contacted the Sheriff’s Department.
The Honda was towed and investigators have begun processing it for evidence, the release stated.
