A barrage of fireworks captured on video erupted in downtown Los Angeles Sunday, lighting up the night sky.

While details are limited and it’s unclear exactly where the fireworks were set off, authorities with the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA that they were notified of the pyrotechnics exploding near city hall at around 10:45 p.m.

Video of the incident obtained by KTLA shows a series of explosions going off behind the Double Tree Hotel in downtown L.A., located at 120 S. Los Angeles Street.

“Bro, what the F***? It is 10:40 at night,” X, formerly Twitter, user Derek Bowe is heard saying in the video. “I’m out here chilling on the roof. What is this?”

According to Bowe, the fireworks went off for nearly three minutes.

Another X user, Rich Windisch, posted video to the site, saying, “Is another fireworks warehouse exploding just northeast of DTLA? Going on five minutes of this.”

LAPD said they have no information on the source of the fireworks or if any arrests have been made.
