3 Men Arrested on Methamphetamine-Related Charges in Simi Valley

Police arrested three men on methamphetamine-related charges Friday during a surveillance operation at the home of a known narcotics dealer in Simi Valley, officials said.

Members of the Simi Valley Police Department’s Special Operations Unit were conducting the surveillance in the 1300 block of Ahart Street (map) when officers initiated a traffic stop, according to a news release. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Brian Arthur Wendork, 25, and Brian Eugene Stewart, 32.

Nicholas Bobby Petrov, 28, was arrested after a second vehicle arrived at the home, the release said. The address is less than have a mile northwest of Park View Elementary School.

Wendor, of Oak Park, was on probation for burglary and drugs and was arrested on suspicion of possessing 1 gram of methamphetamine, police said.

Stewart, of Simi Valley, faces charges of transporting and possessing 18 grams of methamphetamine for sale and possessing and half a gram of psilocybin mushrooms, authorities said. He also had $595 on his person when he was taken into custody, according to officials.

Petrov, of Simi Valley, was on probation for theft and drug charges, the Police Department said. He was suspected of transporting and possessing 18 grams of methamphetamine for sale.
