Two people are being sought in the armed robbery of a South Los Angeles Subway restaurant Wednesday night.
The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. at the location in the 2800 block of Crenshaw Boulevard in the West Adams neighborhood of South Los Angeles.
Two men believed to be between the ages of 18 and 20 years entered the store when at least one of them jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at a clerk, a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA.
It was unclear what was taken from the restaurant during the incident.
A witness who saw the takeover robbery called police who responded to the location.
One of the intruders was described as standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. A black mask was used during the robbery, according to the detective.
The men apparently drove off in a black, four-door vehicle.
Investigators say there is surveillance video of the incident, but it has not been released.
The incident is not tied to a series of recent robberies involving Subway restaurants in the San Fernando Valley, according to the detective.
Those robberies were pulled off by a single intruder with a different description.
