Man fatally shoots coworker before killing himself at Commerce business: LASD

A man fatally shot his coworker before killing himself at a Commerce business Monday morning, officials said.

The shooting was reported about 11:45 a.m. along the 2700 block of Supply Avenue.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies found the two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The men were declared dead at the scene.

“The incident appeared to be a murder-suicide where an employee shot and killed another employee and then shot and killed himself,” sheriff’s officials said in an updated news release.

The men have not been identified, and it is unclear what led up to the fatal incident.

Sheriff’s vehicles remained at the scene hours later, aerial video from Sky5 showed.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the department’s homicide bureau at 323-890-5500.
