A person is dead and another was seriously hurt after a car crashed into a bus stop in Elysian Park on Wednesday.
The car, which appears to be a dark-colored SUV, struck a bus bench at about 4:22 p.m. at 1001 North Broadway, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The person who was hurt was taken to a nearby trauma center in critical condition, the LAFD added.
