The weekend includes a campus-wide exhibition of student work and concludes with a commencement ceremony celebrating graduating students and this year’s honorary degree recipients. Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy

This is described as “the world’s first art amusement park.” It’s Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy, built in Hamburg, Germany in 1987 featuring celebrated artists Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hockey, Roy Lichenstein and more. It lost its funding and disappeared. Well, it’s back and we can experience this amazing and unusual art and amusement park creation inside two huge Los Angeles warehouses. Ticket information is on the lunaluna.com website. The website indicates this spectacular exhibition closes today, Sunday, May 12th.
