As the first Chinese-American movie star, Anna May Wong not only broke barriers on the big screen but also paved a path for Asian Americans off-screen. Now, her niece Anna Wong shares family memories and treasured artifacts while also emphasizing the importance of her late aunt’s dedication to representation and inclusivity.
The “Unmasking Anna May Wong” exhibit at CAM will be open through January 2025.
