Shake Shack to debut new ‘Summer BBQ’ menu

Shake Shack is adding new items to its menu to celebrate the upcoming return of summer.

Inspired by the summer barbecue season, the restaurant chain will be debuting a variation of burgers and fries, which will be added to its new “Summer BBQ” menu.


“Made with the highest quality ingredients – Shake Shack’s Saucy Summer Menu features 100% Angus beef and Shake Shack’s very own BBQ sauce recipe that is smokey with just the right amount of spice. The Carolina BBQ Burger features a blend of Shake Shack’s classic BBQ sauce mixed with Honey Mustard to offer a sweeter profile,” a news release said.

Here’s what will be on the menu:

Smoky Classic BBQ Burger: 100% Angus beef topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, pickles, crispy onions and Shake Shack’s classic smoky BBQ sauce on a toasted potato bun.

Carolina BBQ Burger with Fried Pickles: 100% Angus beef topped with pepper jack cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, fried pickles, and a tangy-sweet Carolina-style BBQ sauce on a toasted potato bun.

BBQ Fries: Crispy crinkle cuts dusted with BBQ seasoning and served with a choice of Shack BBQ or Carolina BBQ sauce.

BBQ Cheese Fries: Crispy crinkle cuts topped with cheese sauce, dusted with BBQ seasoning and served with a choice of Shack BBQ or Carolina BBQ sauce.

The Summer BBQ menu will launch nationwide on Friday.
