A crew member on the set of the Marvel television series “Wonder Man” has died after falling from the rafters.

A spokesperson with Marvel Studios told Deadline that the crew member was a rigger at the Radford Studio Center in the San Fernando Valley.

The studio told the outlet that the series was not filming at the time when the tragedy occurred on Tuesday morning.

“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident,” a spokesperson for Marvel said in a statement to The Los Angeles Times.

Deadline reports that “Wonder Man” is set to start production next month after delays brought on by the writers’ and SAG AFTRA strikes.

It was ordered as an upcoming miniseries for Disney+.
