KTLA 5 caught up with “Red, White & Royal Blue” stars Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez at an FYC event in Hollywood for the original hit film.
Both actors spoke about the work they put into their beloved characters to make the queer love story seem authentic. They also discussed the overwhelming fan response, why it’s been such a hit within the LGBTQ community and how they wish they had a mainstream queer love story to see themselves in while growing up.
Since the film’s success, Prime announced a sequel is in the works with author Casey McQuiston and director/screenwriter Mattew Lopez both returning.
